Feather River Tribal Health Center, located in Oroville, California, offers outpatient alcohol and drug rehab for American Indian/Alaskan Native and non-indigenous peoples. In Feather River Tribal Health Center’s MAT, clients receive a combination of psychiatry, medication management, and traditional emotional wellness and healing practices. Transportation is available for verified Indigenous peoples. The pharmacy is available only to verified Native peoples.
Outpatient care includes group and individual counseling, fitness, recovery skill building, addiction education, and traditional healing practices such as smudging and White Bison therapies. Peer support and community participation are encouraged, and clients develop life skills and healthy daily routines. Tele-psychiatry and educational classes are available to prevent relapse.
Feather River Tribal Health Center offers self-pay and financing options. HMOs are generally not accepted.
