U Can 2 Alano Club is a nonprofit alcohol and drug addiction support program in Phoenix, Arizona. Alano Clubs have a long history of helping clients find and sustain recovery through peer-led programming and networking. They serve adult clients.
Alano Clubs offer support groups that follow 12-Step group modalities. They typically offer multiple meetings per week for specific groups (such as men’s and women’s groups, alcoholics, opioid users, and more).
The 12 Steps is a support group model made popular by NA and AA groups. Clients attend regular meetings and progress through a set of steps in a specific order designed to help them find reliance on others in recovery, take accountability for their actions, support others, and remain in recovery. These groups are nondenominational and are open to people from all walks of life.
The 12 Steps require clients to admit their addictions and need for help. They place their faith in a higher power (which can be any entity, be it a spiritual power or the group itself) and take accountability for their actions by making amends with those impacted by their addiction (where appropriate). Clients who progress through the program stay on to mentor others.
U Can 2 Alano Club doesn’t require insurance. However, clients who are considering rehabilitation should first consult with their insurance provider to confirm coverage, as in network and out of network benefits can vary.

Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
