Located in San Diego, California, Substance Abuse Counseling Center Behavioral Health Provides mental health treatment, dual diagnosis treatment, and alcohol and drug rehab services to teens and adults on an outpatient basis.
The outpatient program is best suited for individuals who do not need continuous supervision and who are capable of benefiting from treatment while living at home or a sober living home. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, self-help groups on a wide variety of topics, and educational classes are provided. Common areas of focus include relapse prevention, anger management, emotional regulation, stress reduction, recovery skills, life skills training, and more.
After a person completes the outpatient program, they may choose to decrease the frequency in which they receive treatment each week. This is known as an aftercare level of support that focuses on maintenance over the long term.
Substance Abuse Counseling Center Behavioral Health accepts most insurance plans, including Amerigroup, Anthem, Beacon, ComPsych, HSCS, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Wellmark, Brightstar Health, and more. Out-of-network benefits may vary, so it’s important to verify coverage with the provider before starting treatment.
