Sober Ranch is a sober living facility located in Palomar Mountain, California, for those who have finished alcohol and drug rehab. Sober Ranch provides sober living, 12-Steps Programs, and faith-based healing for adult men in an isolated rural environment.
At Sober Ranch, clients receive twice-weekly individual therapy sessions and daily group meetings using the 12-Step program as a basis. Additional programs include book studies, exercise and outdoor therapy, equine therapy, and life skills development.
All treatment programs are spiritual- and faith-based, including tracks for Christians, traditional Native American practices, and a non-denominational approach. Clients can perform chores at the ranch to help defray expenses. Stays generally last 6 months.
Sober Ranch provides continual care and support. The center offers a mobile interventionist and/or outside referrals in case of relapse or needed detox.
Sober Ranch offers self-pay and financing options and the center does not accept insurance. Participants may be referred to additional services that accept private insurance plans such as Humana, Ambetter, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and more. Because insurance plans vary, be sure to verify coverage information and out of network details with the insurer.
