San Gabriel Valley Alano Club, located in Covina, California, offers 12-Step meetings to individuals who have been impacted by a loved one’s addiction. This is not an alcohol and drug rehab center, but instead is an outpatient program for codependent individuals.
San Gabriel Valley Alano Club functions on an outpatient basis and uses a person-centered approach to transformation. Participants engage in the 12 Steps and traditions in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. They work the steps, sponsor newcomers, obtain a sponsor, and give back to their local meeting. The goal of the program is to help participants learn new skills to better take care of themselves and break the pattern of codependency.
San Gabriel Valley Alano Club does not accept insurance. Their programs are free. If you would like to use insurance for other treatment, it’s important to check with your insurance carrier prior to starting, because out of network benefits may vary.

Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
