Real Hope Recovery, located in San Diego, California, is an alcohol and drug rehab center that provides partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and evening intensive outpatient treatment to adults seeking recovery.
The partial hospitalization program meets five days a week for six hours at a time. Clients meet during the daytime hours and return to their home environment in the evening. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, educational programming, and skills-building classes are provided. This program offers a small, intimate environment where individuals receive higher levels of support.
The intensive outpatient program may be participated in through either the day program or the evening program. Clients will meet three times a week for three hours at a time when they attend sessions. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and skills classes are provided. This program is available to those who no longer need residential treatment or partial hospitalization treatment, but who are not quite ready for the infrequency of aftercare treatment.
Real Hope Recovery accepts most insurance plans, including Amerigroup, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Beacon, HCSC, Magellan, ComPsych, Humana, and more. Out-of-network benefits may vary, so it’s important to verify coverage with the provider before starting treatment.

Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
