The Bella Vita, located in Los Angeles, California, is an eating disorder treatment center that provides a wide variety of programs and services to help individuals with eating disorders. They are not an addiction treatment center that treats substance use disorder, so if addiction is the primary diagnosis, clients are encouraged to seek treatment at an alcohol and drug rehab center.

The residential program offers 24/7 supervision in a safe and secure environment. Clients engage in individual therapy, nutritional support, group therapy, psychoeducational classes, trauma-informed treatment, skills building classes, stress management classes, mindfulness, and more. Through developing a healthy routine and eating habits, and by practicing the tools learned in groups, clients have a space where they can begin to recover, ask questions, and overcome their weaknesses.

The outpatient program offers individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, personalized treatment plans, and more. Clients will learn about eating disorders as a mental health disease and coping strategy while cultivating and implementing healthy eating habits and routine self-care under the clinical supervision of their therapist.

The Bella Vita accepts most insurance plans, including Amerigroup, Tricare, ComPsych, Wellmark, HCSC, Beacon, and more. Out of network benefits may vary.
