Pine Manor Chemical Dependency Center is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center located in Nevis, Minnesota. They use evidence based approaches to treating substance abuse and mental health concerns that perpetuate the addiction cycle so recovery can become possible.
Pine Manor Chemical Dependency Center offers detox, residential treatment, outpatient, medication assisted treatment, and 12 Step meetings.
Detoxification provides stabilization for adult men and women with substance use disorder. When detox is completed in an inpatient setting, there will be monitoring of vital signs and withdrawal symptoms to ensure the process is as comfortable as possible. When detox is completed on an outpatient basis, monitoring cannot be continuous. The length of detox and the method used varies depending on what is best for each person.
Adult residential treatment is for those who need mental health and physical stabilization before mental health treatment can begin. Incorporated into Pine Manor’s Residential Program are clinical addiction treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma related counseling, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, anger management education, and relapse prevention services, to name a few. This is a highly structured and organized treatment process that requires a commitment to the early stages of treatment.
Outpatient treatment programming is a more flexible approach to addiction treatment that is a step down from partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs. This service provides continued support for addiction recovery through individual therapy, group therapy, and educational classes on addiction and recovery. Medications may be managed, and for those in need, trauma support may also be offered. The goal is to continue to move toward a life of recovery and a suitable aftercare treatment plan that allows for reintegration back into society.
The medication assisted treatment program provides medications along with comprehensive medical, psychiatric, and behavioral counseling. FDA approved medications are used to support withdrawal from opioid drugs and to help maintain long term abstinence. By combining medication with mental health treatment, a greater chance of success is achieved for long term abstinence.
The 12 Step program is a common recovery model based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a plan for recovery based in a Higher Power. Middle steps include self examination and making amends to those who’ve been hurt by the addiction. The later steps include continuing to take personal inventory while living a life of recovery and supporting others in doing the same. Additional 12 Step groups include Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) Gamblers Anonymous (GA), to name a few
