Options Recovery Services is an alcohol and drug rehab for adults in Berkeley, California. The center provides gender-separate outpatient (OP) and aftercare programs, dual diagnosis treatment, 12-Step-focused programming, holistic therapy, legal services for court-ordered clients, and laboratory drug testing.
Justice-involved clients, including incarcerated persons, may be eligible for a mentorship program to support inmates prior to and upon their release. Options Recovery Services provides these clients with counselor training, transportation, residential housing, and internships at substance use disorder treatment centers.
Outpatient clients engage in individual, couples, family and group counseling for 12 weeks. Their evidence-based complementary therapies include relaxation training, acupuncture, and yoga. Services are available in day or night sessions. Clients may also receive life-skills training, addressing topics such as literacy, financial management, and career counseling.
Their aftercare services enable a complete continuum of care and include optional weekly group sessions available in the day and evening. Clients are invited to attend these sessions for continual support and to prevent relapse. Sober living referrals are available in conjunction with the Alameda County Housing Authority. Additional referrals may also be provided for specialized care in an outside facility.
Options Recovery Services offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, and TRICARE. Please check with your insurance provider for specific details concerning out-of-network coverage.
