About this Facility

New Season -- Concord Metro Treatment Center is an opioid treatment facility in Concord, New Hampshire. As part of the medication assisted treatment (MAT) and therapy programs, New Season also strives to educate adult clients on the nature of opioid addiction as a disease. They are a private facility with clinical amenities. Clients receiving MAT through New Season also participate in outpatient therapy. New Season uses methadone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine format.

Outpatient treatment is a day program where clients visit the facility on a set schedule to participate in their treatment plan. It’s considered a lower level of care because clients do not reside at the facility and are not under constant supervision. It is a less restrictive environment ideal for those who have previously completed a higher level of care, such as an inpatient residential program, or who have mild symptoms.

During an outpatient program, clients receive therapy from a professional counselor. Therapy helps clients to express themselves and explore the nature of their addiction while analyzing their thoughts and behaviors. Therapy will ultimately show clients how these things are linked together and teach them healthy and supportive coping skills they can rely on to sustain recovery during and after treatment.

Therapy can occur individually, in groups, or a family setting. Group therapy creates an environment where clients can engage in peer support and share their experiences. Family counseling supports a client’s loved ones, helps them heal from the effects of addiction, and shows them how to effectively keep a client in recovery.

New Season combines MAT with therapy for a comprehensive opioid recovery treatment plan. MAT lowers the barrier many face in treatment by using FDA approved medications to eliminate or reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. These symptoms can be so intense that clients are unable or unwilling to participate in recovery, increasing the risk of relapse.

MAT is handled by a professional medical team who will perform assessments to determine a client’s needs and eligibility. They also perform ongoing assessments while a client receives MAT to observe any changes and alter treatment as needed.

Treatment

Alcoholism

Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is a condition characterized by drinking that causes distress or harm. Also called alcoholism, this alcohol addiction can be classified as mild, moderate, or severe. Various treatments for alcoholism can be classified as social, psychological, and physiological. Options include inpatient or outpatient alcohol rehab in New Hampshire, 12-step groups, and faith-based recovery programs.

Drug Addiction

Treatment provided at drug rehab in New Hampshire prepares individuals to handle life stressors without using substances. Participants get the tools and support they need to maintain lifelong recovery.

Opioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance Abuse

In New Hampshire, individuals can find comprehensive rehab programs that provide substance abuse treatment on an inpatient or outpatient basis. These programs typically utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and experiential therapies, together with family counseling, individual, and group meetings. These critical interventions provide an effective treatment program that will help you achieve sobriety and maintain it in the long-term.

Level of Care

Outpatient

Clients undergoing treatment at an outpatient rehab reside in their own homes and engage in counseling and recovery education sessions in the evening, at night, or on the weekend. This ensures clients’ access to care while working, caregiving, or attending school. Outpatient treatment is often the next level of care for clients stepping down from inpatient care, though some clients enroll immediately after completing detox. Many programs offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) for those in alcohol or opioid recovery.

Medically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Clinical Services

Family Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more.
