About this Facility

New Hope Behavioral Health Center is an outpatient substance abuse behavioral healthcare clinic located in Mesa, Arizona. New Hope Behavioral Health Center specializes in opioid use disorder. New Hope partners with outside health care professionals to integrate and manage the delicate task of stabilizing and their opiate dependent patients.

We are an adult out-patient Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) Facility focusing strictly on Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) with Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT). We offer and require 1:1 and group counseling for our patients, intake and update assessments, transportation, case management, vocational rehabilitation, random drug-screening, and transportation, all in addition to the medication portion of the treatment.

We work closely with outside agencies, including the Department of Child Safety, adult probation, and physical and mental health facilities. It is our goal to ensure our patients are connected to the services they need, that New Hope may not be able to provide. On that occasion, we will help engage them in those services through referrals and coordination of care.

Treatment

Opioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance Abuse

Arizona’s substance abuse treatment centers can provide tailored treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Treatment programs may include medically assisted detox, 12-Step recovery, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Addiction experts employ evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and talk therapy to uncover and reframe unhelpful patterns. By graduation, you’ll have developed new coping strategies, learned new stress management techniques, and have the capability of sustaining your recovery.

Level of Care

Outpatient

Many clients who enroll in an outpatient rehab program are exiting intensive inpatient care and no longer require such high-level clinical supervision. Outpatient programs typically follow a step-down structure, with treatment frequency and intensity decreasing as clients progress in their recovery journey. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care are the most time-intensive and are designed primarily for clients who have just left inpatient treatment or who are at an elevated risk of relapse.
