Located in Honeydew, California, Mission Teens, is a non-denominational Christian discipleship ministry that provides behavioral health and drug rehab services. They are a faith-based residential program for teens that ministers the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help people overcome life-controlling problems.
Mission Teens- Mountain of Mercy offers a unique approach to treatment that lasts about 12 months in length. Services include:
Residential This is a highly structured program with a rigid daily schedule. As a discipleship training program that requires 5 ½ hours of Bible study a day, which includes a comprehensive study of the New Testament, and a general study of the Old Testament, there is a heavy emphasis on faith as each person’s foundation. The program lasts 8 – 16 months depending on the needs of each person. It is divided up into four distinct phases that build upon one another in terms of responsibility and privileges afforded over time for progress made. The last phase includes counselor training and requires that at least one daily counseling session is offered to new members of the program.
