Located in San Diego, California, the Mental Health Systems Reentry Program provides mental health treatment, dual diagnosis treatment, and alcohol and drug rehab services to individuals on an outpatient basis. This program focuses on supporting those who have been incarcerated to integrate back into society while addressing their behavioral health.
The Mental Health Systems Reentry Program offers an outpatient program that focuses on personalized treatment programs and address the whole person. Men and women have access to mental health counseling, community programs designed to support them in finding housing and employment, and addiction treatment services. Individual therapy, group therapy, self-help groups, peer support services, and case management services are provided. If it is determined that an individual needs a higher level of care, they may be referred to a treatment center that can provide residential or inpatient treatment.
Mental Health Systems Reentry Program invites people interested in their program to contact them to discuss options for participation and payment. If a person wants to use insurance for any type of treatment they are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to learn more about their benefits because out-of-network benefits may vary.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.
