Hope Valley Recovery is an alcohol and drug treatment center in Circleville, Ohio. They use a multifaceted approach to treatment based on physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Clients undergo a detox process at the start of the program. Experienced medical staff oversees the process from start to finish, which often requires medication and close monitoring. Educating clients on the effects of detox, including withdrawal symptoms, coping skills, and the effects of medication given, is also a key aspect of the process.

Clients will live at the Hope Valley Recovery facility for the first phase of their treatment. It’s here where they receive the therapy components of treatment, including individual, group, and family therapy, health and nutrition education, mental health therapy, gender specific counseling, and medication management. Clients are encouraged to socialize with their peers and develop support networks during residency.

Co-occurring disorder treatment uncovers any mental health disorders that may coexist with an addiction, such as depression and anxiety. This whole person approach has a high success rate because it covers multiple related problems rather than focusing solely on one diagnosis.

After completing the residential portion of treatment, clients move into the transitional living phase. They receive off site housing where they continue receiving monitoring and therapeutic services. Transitional living allows clients to continue practicing the skills learned during treatment in a safe environment.

Additionally, those in transitional living can receive help with job placement and training, college placement, and tutoring and can engage with volunteer opportunities in their community.

Alumni can also find assistance in finding other transitional housing upon completion of the program.

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Outpatient

Outpatient rehabs offer robust wraparound care for clients who are stepping down from intensive inpatient care, with many facilities providing multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living/halfway housing, and standard outpatient programming. Clients may also elect to enroll in outpatient care immediately after completing inpatient detox. Those who are at lower risk of withdrawal complications may also choose to receive ambulatory medical detox from an outpatient facility. Outpatient programs typically involve addiction counseling, recovery education, and/or medication assisted treatment (MAT). Holistic therapies, such as art and music therapy, are commonly available.
