Short-term and long-term residential treatment is available. Clients engage in intensive, trauma-informed, CBT-based individual, group, and family counseling. Extensive recovery-focused life skills training is also prioritized to support clients’ long term sobriety, including courses in anger management, coping, wellness, and relapse prevention.

Clients receive an array of aftercare planning and support services to facilitate their successful reintegration into the home, workplace, and community. Transitional housing, 12 step program induction support, and referrals for medical, mental health, and social service programs are available.

Alcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug Addiction

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders.
