About this Facility

Hickory House, located in Greenfield, Indiana, is a private drug and alcohol addiction treatment center that is client centered. This drug rehab center focuses on enforcing a strength based model that utilizes the latest addiction medicine research to help those willing to overcome addiction.

The expert team at Hickory House is committed to collaborating with clients to empower them and help them gain control of their lives, which is why this drug rehab center offers numerous addiction treatment programs. Read below to learn more about them.

To end an addiction, detoxification is necessary. At Hickory House, individuals can enroll in a substance abuse detoxification program. This program offers 24/7 monitoring with licensed staff experienced in addiction treatment.

During this detox center program, the client will receive medication management that includes anti-seizure medications, non-addictive medicine, counseling, and frequent monitoring.

At Hickory House, individuals can take themselves out of toxic environments and into a safe and comfortable recovery environment by enrolling in the residential inpatient treatment program.

This program helps clients learn new habits and skills for a lifetime of sober living over the course of a minimum of 30 days. In addition, this residential program offers individuals rest and recreation alongside customized and holistic treatment plans and comprehensive care.

This addiction treatment center offers an outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) program tailored to meet each individual’s substance abuse recovery needs. Typically patients begin an OP or IOP after completing a residential program, but this is not required. The OP and IOP both offer counseling as a treatment modality, but the IOP is more intensive.

This addiction treatment center IOP operates three nights a week for three hours a session over 10 to 12 weeks. The IOP also included evidence based treatments, intimate group sizes, and a private and intimate location.

Level of Care

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.

Outpatient

Outpatient rehab programs provide flexibility and choice for clients who do not require intensive inpatient treatment. Clients remain in their own homes and may continue to work or attend schools while in active recovery. Outpatient treatment typically includes addiction counseling and continuing recovery education, including courses in self-care and relapse prevention. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available in many treatment centers for clients in opioid and/or alcohol recovery.

Intensive Outpatient

Persons who require high-level support but who do not wish to leave their homes or communities may enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients typically commit to a minimum of nine treatment hours across three therapeutic sessions per week, but many programs offer up to 20 hours of care weekly. Most intensive outpatient rehabs provide a combination of psychotherapy, recovery education, and holistic care. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is widely available for those in alcohol or opioid recovery.

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
