Helping Kids to Recover is located in Los Angeles, California. They provide community-based after-school programs for children to help them connect with other students and healthy mentors who encourage mental health and well-being. Helping Kids to Recover offers mental health treatment and wellness support services through mentorship and after school activities that cultivate a sense of belonging, expression, and internal reflection. Programming takes place on site, and is supportive of youth who are facing a wide variety of issues. Goal setting, community education, special activities, and fostering a sense of community are provided.
Helping Kids to Recover does not take insurance. If a child and their family want them to receive additional mental health treatment and they want to use insurance, they are invited to contact their insurance provider to discuss benefit coverage.
