The Heartland Wellness Recovery Center offers outpatient dual diagnosis substance use and mental health treatment to adults in El Cajon, California. Services are trauma informed, culturally sensitive, and available in English, Arabic, and Chaldean.

Outpatient care at the Heartland Wellness Recovery Center includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis services, case management, peer support, substance use education, and relapse prevention. Referrals to more intensive drug rehab treatment are available if appropriate. Clients are encouraged to have family and partners involved in their treatment.

To help clients maintain long term recovery and independence, the Heartland Wellness Recovery Center offers wraparound aftercare services such as education assistance, employment support, vocational training, connections to 12 step and community recovery programs, and referrals to social services and other resources.

The Heartland Wellness Recovery Center accepts Medi Cal. Participants may also be referred to services that accept private insurance, such as Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Kaiser, Magellan Health, and more.
