Gateway to Success

Gateway to Success is a mental health clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They provide comprehensive outpatient mental health programs, alcohol and drug addiction treatment, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Outpatient addiction and mental health-related services offered at Gateway to Success serve adults and adhere to ASAM level of care. The program involves clinical assessments and comprehensive treatment planning, co-occurring disorders treatment, psychiatric services, counseling, medication assisted treatment, DUI education, and domestic violence treatment.

Gateway to Success provides comprehensive needs assessments and psychological evaluations to assess patients for mental health and/or substance use disorders. Clinicians provide a customized treatment plan using evidence based therapies, which may include individual counseling, group therapy, suicide prevention, trauma therapy, cognitive skills development, motivational interviewing, DBT, DUI Therapy, Seeking Safety, biofeedback, and family counseling.

The outpatient program at Gateway to Success is for individuals over the age of 18. The program treats addiction and/or other co-occurring conditions, using evidence based practices, that include a clinical assessment, individualized treatment planning, individual and group therapy, relapse prevention techniques, skill building, coping skills, groups therapy, relapse prevention, strategies for self-improvement and change, trauma recovery and empowerment, acceptance and commitment therapy, and anger management. Sessions are held several days per week, depending upon the individual’s circumstances.

The MAT program includes counseling, support groups, and medication management in an outpatient setting. This program is appropriate for adults over the age of 18 with alcohol and substance use disorders. As clients progress and stabilize, in person office appointments tend to become less frequent.

DUI programs are court ordered by the Office for Behavioral Health for Colorado. Gateway to Success’s program also includes educational groups for impaired drivers in weekly two hour group sessions for youth and adults.

Gateway to Success accepts Medicare, Medicaid, state funding, private insurance plans, and self pay. There are sliding scale and financial assistance options available. No one is refused care due to an inability to pay.
