At Evolve Indy, the partial hospitalization program (PHP) is open to those who communicate with the director of admissions to determine the appropriate course of admission treatment. Those who are approved to enter this PHP will receive addiction treatment services during the day or night.

It also offers community housing for those who want a more onsite addiction treatment experience. Typically clients are required to attend clinical treatment Monday through Saturday. During treatment, each individual will complete 30 hours of group and individual therapy, including behavioral therapy and relapse prevention, in a safe and comfortable environment that promotes recovery.

Evolve Indys intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers individuals the freedom they need to receive addiction treatment and resume daily life. Those who attend this IOP will be required to attend group therapy sessions six days weekly, each requiring 15 to 25 hours of group and individual therapy to help with substance abuse recovery. The treatment modalities offered during this IOP are evidence based and include CBT and 12 step programs.

The outpatient program (OP) offered by this addiction treatment center allows individuals to continue with daily living while receiving the final step of addiction treatment. The length of this program differs based on individual needs, with some attending the OP for a few months and others a year or more.

In addition, this OP encourages clients to attend between one to three sessions weekly, and therapy focuses on addiction triggers, coping skills, and relapse prevention skills.

Partial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

Intensive Outpatient

Persons who require high-level support but who do not wish to leave their homes or communities may enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients typically commit to a minimum of nine treatment hours across three therapeutic sessions per week, but many programs offer up to 20 hours of care weekly. Most intensive outpatient rehabs provide a combination of psychotherapy, recovery education, and holistic care. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is widely available for those in alcohol or opioid recovery.

Outpatient

Outpatient rehab programs provide flexibility and choice for clients who do not require intensive inpatient treatment. Clients remain in their own homes and may continue to work or attend schools while in active recovery. Outpatient treatment typically includes addiction counseling and continuing recovery education, including courses in self-care and relapse prevention. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available in many treatment centers for clients in opioid and/or alcohol recovery.

Family Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
