Crossroads Inc Women’s Unity is an addiction treatment center offering medication assisted treatment for adult women in New Haven, Connecticut. Services include medication addiction treatment and detox.

The outpatient substance use disorder treatment program at Crossroads Inc provides a full continuum of addiction care, including accommodating criminal justice referrals. Programs include clinical assessment and treatment planning, detox, outpatient treatment, recovery focused care, counseling, medication, psychoeducational opportunities, pregnancy and postpartum services, and comprehensive aftercare.

Crossroads Inc provides thorough clinical assessments, which evaluate patients for substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions. This helps the treatment team to devise an individualized and effective treatment plan. Therapeutic interventions may include individual counseling, group therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, family counseling, and couple’s therapy.

The outpatient clinic at Crossroads Inc treats addiction and/or other co-occurring conditions. The program begins with a thorough clinical assessment, a customized treatment plan, individual and group therapy, psychoeducation, relapse prevention support and planning, and recovery support groups. Sessions are held several days per week, depending upon the severity of the substance use disorder and the needs of the patient. The women’s outpatient program also includes pregnancy and postpartum support.

Specializing in the treatment of opioid use disorders since 2005, Crossroads has the expertise to provide accessible MAT across the United States. The team in New Haven are doctors, nurse practitioners, counselors, and other professionals who support patients in overcoming addiction through their outpatient program, which involves MAT induction, early recovery, relapse prevention, and stabilization. MAT is the use of certain medications, like methadone or buprenorphine, in combination with behavioral counseling for the treatment of opioid addiction. MAT is a highly effective and evidence based treatment endorsed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse as the gold standard of treatment. The Women’s program at Crossroads is also offered on a pregnancy and postpartum basis.
