About this Facility

Community Rehab is a drug rehab located in Orange, California, for alcohol, substance, and opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Community Rehab provides detox, dual diagnosis care, case management, inpatient (IP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), sober living, 12-Step programs, and aftercare treatment for young adults and adults.

In the detox program, clients receive a personalized evaluation and customized treatment program. Detox may include medication management, individual and group counseling, and holistic therapy to ease withdrawal and pain. Clients transition into the inpatient program as they enter sobriety.

Inpatient treatment provides group and individual counseling for all clients. Experiential and creative arts therapy may be available to promote emotional wellness and strengthen mindfulness. Additional amenities can include a music room, outdoor exercise, and a kitchen. The facility is located near a beach, and pets are welcome.

Clients who transition out of inpatient may need intensive outpatient services several times per week. These clients receive motivational interviewing, family resources, and individual and group counseling alongside relapse prevention education. Arts and outdoors therapy may be employed to support clients’ recovery.

In the general outpatient program, clients receive group and individual therapy as they strengthen their sobriety. Community Rehab may require clients to participate in 12-Step or other peer support strategies as they continue their rehabilitation.

Clients may be eligible for sober living care. Clients participate in group therapy, 12-Steps and other support programs. They also perform chores, pay rent, and join in community events as they develop healthy daily living habits and routines.

Community Rehab provides continual care and support for all alumni. The center may make additional referrals to outside facilities for specialized treatment.

Community Rehab offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Magellan Health, TRICARE, and Wellpoint. Treatment

Alcoholism

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Drug Addiction

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance Abuse

In California, substance abuse treatment programs can help individuals with any type of substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. These rehab programs typically encompass various levels of care, including medically assisted detox, intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential rehab, and partial hospitalization. You can expect clinicians to utilize evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help you achieve and sustain your recovery. The rehab’s clinical team can provide a comprehensive assessment to determine the appropriate level of care and medical support you may need.

Level of Care

Medically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. Community Rehab offers a complete, supervised drug and alcohol detox program. The patient will feel safe knowing that professional staff is on site 24 hours a day. Withdrawal symptoms are unpleasant at best, but their staff understands what the patient is going through and is here to support him/her every step of the way. In order to make detox less scary and uncomfortable, they will teach the client about addiction and withdrawal. They’ll learn about how their body is reacting to the withdrawal of substances from their system, and Community Rehab will support and comfort them as they cope with this process.

24-Hour Clinical Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support clients’ sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from inpatient programs. They are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Primary Residential Treatment program at Community Rehab uses a lot of one-one-one therapy sessions. Some clients take part in up to two of these sessions a day. This allows them to help clients get to the heart of their addiction, and help them develop the skills needed to overcome addiction. Group therapy is beneficial and is used at their facility, allowing clients to work on relationship building and social skill development.

Sober Living Homes

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the “real world” after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Intervention Services

An intervention must be done the right way to be effective. If families try to stage their own intervention based on what they’ve seen on TV or in the movies, they run the risk of driving that person away rather than getting them to accept help. During an intervention, the family should be firm, but caring; honest, but tactful. The problem many families make is they go into an intervention accusing their loved one of many things, without offering them the hope and encouragement to do something about it. A professional interventionist can help families keep the tone of the encounter positive, to be productive, and to encourage real results. Intervention Services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict’s behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.

Clinical Services

Creative Arts Therapy

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
