Centrec Care provides a wide range of services, providing tailored care for every individual’s unique needs.

For those starting their recovery journey, Centrec Care offers Outpatient Detoxification. This outpatient setting ensures individuals receive the necessary care while still attending to their daily commitments.

For individuals who require a more immersive treatment experience than standard outpatient care, the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers a balanced blend of medical oversight and therapeutic interventions. Through PHP, participants benefit from intensive therapy sessions and medical monitoring, yet have the flexibility to return home in the evenings.

Centrec Care uses Medication-Assisted Treatment to address the physical dimensions of addiction. This approach, combining behavioral therapy with specific medications, treats substance abuse disorders by tackling both the physical cravings and psychological aspects of addiction.

To arm individuals against relapse, Centrec Care offers Substance Abuse Education. These sessions enlighten participants and their families about addiction’s nature, triggers, and the journey to recovery. Knowledge remains a cornerstone of the center’s strategy to promote lasting recovery.

Treatment

Alcoholism

Individuals who suffer from alcoholism drink to the extent that they harm themselves or others and have an impaired ability to stop drinking. Their alcohol use disorder may be classified as mild, moderate, or severe. At any level, alcohol rehab in Missouri can help individuals overcome alcohol addiction. Treatment includes physiological, psychological, and social aspects to provide comprehensive care that leads to long-term recovery.

Drug Addiction

Drug rehab in Missouri usually involves several phases: detox, rehab, and aftercare. The rehab phase may include a combination of inpatient and outpatient treatments, as the individual moves through a continuum of care on their recovery journey.

Dual Diagnosis

Specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs in Missouri include inpatient residential rehab, outpatient, intensive outpatient, detox, and partial hospitalization programs. Offering a full continuum of care, their clinicians have the expertise to treat individuals with co-occurring substance use disorder and mental health conditions at the same time. The benefits of dual-diagnosis treatment are enhanced recovery outcomes, improved overall health and well-being, and it equips individuals with the information and skills required to sustain long-term sobriety.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse

In Missouri, dual-diagnosis rehabs offer comprehensive care for individuals facing both mental health and substance abuse challenges. These specialized facilities integrate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and experiential therapy to address both aspects of your well-being. Seeking help from an addiction and medical expert who can devise a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, you’ll drastically improve your mental health and long-term recovery outcomes.

Opioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Level of Care

Outpatient

Outpatient rehab enables clients to continue to work, attend school, or reside at home while undergoing treatment, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Evening, night, and weekend sessions are available at many facilities to ensure continuous access to care on the client’s schedule. Many centers also offer ancillary services, such as career coaching and peer mentoring, to promote clients’ sustained recovery and community integration. Higher-level outpatient treatment, including intensive outpatient (IOP) care, is also widely available.

Medically Assisted Detox

The Ambulatory Detoxification Program is a medically supervised program designed to systematically reduce physical dependence on alcohol, opiates, sedatives, hypnotics and other drugs in an outpatient setting. The patient may suffer withdrawal symptoms during abstinence, which necessitates medical intervention to control the physical impact of sobriety. Individuals requiring treatment of withdrawal symptoms will be appropriately assessed and treated for symptomatic relief. Detoxification services are run 7 days per week with intake assessments accepted from 10am – 5pm daily.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs provide an intermediate level of care, often supporting clients’ transition from inpatient rehab to outpatient treatment. Most IOP programs require a minimum of nine therapeutic hours weekly, but clients may receive up to 20 hours of care, with the intensity and frequency of care declining as clients grow stronger in their sobriety. Intensive outpatient treatment generally combines addiction counseling, recovery education, holistic therapies, and, for some, medication assisted treatment (MAT).

12-Step

12 step programs are designed to enable participants to understand and address the root causes of their addiction, accept responsibility for their life choices, and relinquish control over that which they cannot change. Participants are expected to regularly attend 12 step meetings and to be mentored in their recovery journey by a self-selected sponsor. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public. A variety of formats are available, including programs for seniors, teens, family members, and nondenominational Christians.

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

24-Hour Clinical Care

Behavior Disorders Behavior Disorders Centrec Care has a triage team (MD, APRN, LCSW) available to manage psychiatric emergencies and provides crisis stabilization Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm. Patients who are acutely psychotic, high risk for suicide and/or homicide with a lethal plan and who present with over-riding medical problems are referred for inpatient treatment according to the organization’s emergency service policy.

Intervention Services

The services involve brief, concentrated interventions to stabilize psychiatric conditions or behavioral and situational problems including substance abuse, prevent escalation of psychiatric symptoms, reduce the risk of harm to self or to others, avert loss of housing, and wherever possible to avoid the need for hospitalization or other more restrictive placement, and direct the patient to appropriate available service for care. Services and interventions are highly individualized and tailored to the needs and preferences of the participant, with the goal of maximizing independence and supporting recover.

Clinical Services

Animal Therapy

Animal therapy (aka pet therapy or animal-assisted therapy) can be very healing, as it allows patients to bond with animals, who give unconditional love. This is particularly useful for those who suffered trauma by the hands of people, who may be able to trust and form closer attachments to animals than humans at certain stages of rehabilitation.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Family therapy is a branch of psychotherapy that works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development. It tends to view change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members. It emphasizes family relationships as an important factor in psychological health. Centrec Care’s approach to therapy is not to assign fault or blame on the individual or family. They believe that regardless of the problem and who may be responsible for the friction, the family unit will be guided towards uncovering solutions to the issues. This involvement of families is commonly accomplished by their direct participation in the therapy session. Their trained professionals use their skills to influence conversation, promote interaction and stimulate dialogue between the parties participating in the session.

Centrec Care’s Group therapy can involve one or more therapists working with multiple people at the same time. The number of participants may range from 2-20 people. The group can be comprised of members who are at different stages in the treatment process. The group will typically have individuals who are suffering from varying behavioral health afflictions (depression, anxiety, stress), or substance abuse (alcohol, opiates, sedatives). Centrec Care has a structured menu of subject matter that the therapist will teach to the group members. The educational process will provide a better understanding of their problems and prepare the critical ground work for developing essential coping skills. They promote discussion in a highly interactive, energy charged exchange of ideas. The setting is safe and supportive, allowing group members to experiment without the fear of failure.

Upon entry into Centrec Cares Program each individual will be assigned a therapist who will conduct individual therapeutic sessions. The therapist will work to build a trusting relationship that will allow the patient to express his or her thoughts and emotions, while gaining insight into his or her behavioral health issues. A treatment plan will materialize based upon the information uncovered during these sessions. The plan will be modified as new and relevant characteristics are exposed by the individual, assisting in attaining a successful treatment outcome. Their approach to individual therapy is interactive in style and based on the concept that understanding and coming to terms with emotions is essential to effective problem solving and personal growth.
