Spirituality is prioritized and daily prayer and Bible study, as well as biweekly chapel attendance, are required. Job skills and academic or vocational training are emphasized and clients are expected to seek and maintain employment, if possible.
Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include step-down support, 12 step program facilitation, employment and housing assistance, and referrals for additional services.
Most of Canaan Land’s services are available at little or no cost, with treatment and housing funded in whole or in part through clients’ program-supported employment.
