Brick House Recovery – Boise Treatment Center is an accredited dual-diagnosis rehab in Boise, ID for adults and families. The center provides faith-based treatment that’s firmly rooted in the 12-step philosophy.
Firmly rooted in the 12-Step philosophies, Brick House Recovery offers comprehensive addiction treatment programs and services including:
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Brick House Recovery is an intensive program that allows clients to return home each day. PHP treatment runs 5 days a week and often involves group therapy, individual counseling, family therapy, and an integral element of bible study sessions.
As a less-intensive option, the intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers evidence-based treatment to those with manageable substance use disorders. IOP treatment at Brick House requires a minimum of 9 hours a week. Treatment often encompasses therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and relapse prevention. To enhance the journey, participants also attend weekly 12-step meetings.
Brick House offers a comprehensive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program. This includes the use of medications, like Vivitrol, to manage cravings, paired with therapeutic interventions to address the underlying causes of addiction.
At the heart of Brick House’s approach are evidence-based therapies. Techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing are employed to empower individuals in developing coping strategies, addressing root causes, and fostering long-term recovery.
Understanding the interconnectedness of addiction and family dynamics, BrickHouse offers dedicated family programs. These sessions aim to repair strained relationships, equip families with coping mechanisms, and foster a supportive environment for the recovering individual.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
