Situated in Bloomington, Indiana, Amethyst House – Women’s House is a drug and alcohol treatment center that supports women recovering from substance use disorders. They also provide valuable community resources, such as referrals, and family support services.

Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Amethyst House residential addiction treatment program is for adult women over 18 and their dependent children. The program can serve up to 14 women and 6 children, with preferential treatment given to pregnant women and IV drug users. The structured treatment program provides the skills and support to help women achieve and sustain recovery. Treatment includes individual, family, and group counseling, psychoeducation, skills groups, 12-step recovery meetings, and relapse prevention planning.
Case Management This service involves a case manager working with residents to arrange care, coordinate services, make referrals, and navigate social services throughout the treatment process.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Designed women, participants attend individual and group treatment sessions for improved coping skills, peer support, and recovery support meetings. Sessions are held 3-4 days a week. Services include evaluation, case management, referral services, and counseling.
