About this Facility

Al Anon is a free program to all who want to overcome their codependency. The program is provided on an outpatient basis. Individuals engage in peer-led meetings based on the Steps and principles outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. Individuals work the Steps, sponsor newcomers, obtain sponsorship, and provide service to others.

Al Anon is free and therefore does not accept insurance. If a person wants to use insurance for other treatment, it is important to verify coverage with their insurance provider, because out of network benefits may vary.

Level of Care

12-Step

12 step programs are designed to foster participants’ recovery through spiritual development, promoting healing in mind, body, and spirit. Participants engage in 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, and accessible daily, including evening, night, and weekend group sessions. Participants also self-select a sponsor to support them throughout their recovery journey. Though rooted in spiritual principles, participants do not have to be religiously-affiliated. Specialized formats, including gender and age-specific ones, are available.

Clinical Services

Family Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
