Al - Anon Family Groups

Al-Anon Family Groups, in Sedona, Arizona, provides 12-Step-focused, community-based mental and behavioral health services for friends and family members of persons experiencing substance use disorder (SUD). They offer group counseling, one-on-one peer coaching, and addiction education, including gender-specific and dedicated programs for children, adolescents, and spouses impacted by addiction.

Clients engage in frequent group meetings, which are free, anonymous, open to the public, and available 365 days per year, including evening, nights, weekends, and holidays. Al-Anon counseling and education services are available at no cost to clients, but peers may refer clients to paid medical and mental health services. Many treatment providers contract with major insurance providers, such as Aetna, Cigna, Humana, BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, and others, to offset treatment costs.
