Al – Anon & Al - Ateen offers community-based drug and alcohol rehab support for adults, children, and families in San Francisco, California. Addiction treatment services include outpatient treatment, community support, volunteer opportunities, and referrals.
Treatment at Al–Anon & Al-Ateen includes group and individual-based support for individuals, children, adolescents, and friends of loved ones struggling with addiction to drugs or alcohol. Other services include the following:
Clients attend individual and group treatment sessions for improved coping skills, peer support, and recovery support. Sessions are held seven days a week throughout the day. Treatment is available to teens, adults, and friends and family of loved ones struggling with addiction.
Members can access regular 12-step meetings run by their attendees. This peer-based group provides support to one another through sharing their experiences, working through the 12 steps with a sponsor, and being of service to others in need. Anyone who is struggling with a loved one using substances may join.
Al–Anon & Al-Ateen is a free service and supports itself through member contributions and those who volunteer. There is no requirement to donate – it is entirely voluntary. Attending Al–Anon & Al-Ateen will not impact your out-of-network benefits.
