1600 Club is a rehab center located in Santa Maria, California that offers help to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. This drug rehab facility provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient services, and sober living services.
MAT combines medication and therapy to treat the client. During this phase, clients partake in individual and group therapy as well as educational programming. Staff take a whole-person healing approach to address the mind, body, and spirit.
During detox, clients receive medication while their bodies are cleansed of addictive substances. This treatment minimizes withdrawal symptoms. Detox is a prerequisite for therapy, which begins once detox is complete.
Inpatient clients live on campus to focus solely on their recovery. Participants engage in one-on-one counseling sessions and 12 Step meetings in a group setting. Throughout their stay, clients build vital life skills that lead to long-term recovery. Areas of focus include trauma, communication skills, boundaries, anger management, self-care, and goal setting.
The outpatient program is a step down from inpatient care. Clients begin to return to their daily lives. Treatment continues as participants build upon life-skills while attending treatment sessions.
Once clients have completed their program, they have access to the sober living facility. Here, participants continue to focus on their recovery while attending support groups or receiving recovery education.
Major insurance providers like Cigna, Humana, and Wellmark typically cover addiction treatment. However, it is advised that you contact your provider to verify coverage and out-of-network benefits.

Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
